Job Description:
- Welcoming and sitting customers comfortably in the dining section
- Taking customers’ food and drink orders
- Memorizing the menu and recommending meals and drinks
- Positive customer services
- Checking up with customers if they are having a good time at our restaurant
- Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff for the prompt and correct delivery of orders
- Resolving all customer issues promptly and delivering a memorable dining experience
- Ability to follow directions thoroughly
- Always be professional – maintain a positive attitude (even in busy times)
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Answers the phone using a pre-established greeting
Job Requirement:
- At least 21+ years of age
- Authorized to work in the United States
- A valid food handler’s card in your state (CA, Nevada)
- Obtain a current ABC Responsible Service of Alcohol certification(CA) or Alcohol Awareness Certification(Nevada)
- Ability to work late nights including weekends/holidays
- Must be able to operate the P.O.S. computer system, make changes correctly, and make credit card transactions accurately
- Ability to understand and work with a sense of urgency
- Ability to communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding
- Experienced servers are preferred. If not, must have a willingness to learn fast
- Walk or stand most of the 5–8-hour shift
